About

Be INFORMED. Be INSPIRED

The MEMORIAL SERVICE is one of the most common types of funeral services. It is very similar to a traditional funeral, with the exception being that the casketed body is not present. (Cremated remains in an urn may or may not be present.)

What is a Traditional Funeral Service?

The TRADITIONAL FUNERAL SERVICE is still the most common type of ceremony held. At a traditional funeral service, the casket or urn is usually present and something of a much novelty act.

Traditional funerals feature many if not all of the following elements:

  • VIEWING, VISITATION or WAKE prior to the funeral
  • Casket with EMBALMED BODY
  • Religious hymns, readings, and prayers, perhaps a brief sermon
  • Simple decorations of FLOWERS
  • Private or public COMMITAL after the funeral
  • Formal RECEPTION with food and fellowship

A wake is the solemn service usually occurring just before the funeral. The origins of traditional wakes are in Catholicism, so the faithful may say the Rosary during the wake.

  1. We offer our Campo Santo while Chapel is still in the process of planning to cater for the mourn of the families as we speak
  2. In order to observe decorum in the Chapels during the WAKE, please observe the following policies of the memorial management:

A GRAVESIDE SERVICE is a ceremony that occurs at the cemetery, where family and friends pay their final respects before the casket is lowered into the ground for burial.

An INTERMENT SERVICE is the opening and closing of a particular interment space and means one or more services necessarily or customarily provided in connection with the interment, entombment, or inurnment of human remains or combination thereof.

What is a Celebration of Life?

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE is a unique celebration on its own.. While it can take the place of a traditional funeral service, it is common for the celebration of life to occur days, or weeks. This means that the remains are often not present. However, this can vary depending on the family’s preference.

  • A celebration of life is a unique ceremony unto its own. While it can take the place of a traditional funeral service, it is common for the celebration of life to occur days, weeks, or even years following the funeral.

  • Celebrations of life are exactly that: celebrations! Personalization is important in a celebration of life, and it is usually more joyful than somber. A celebration of life may include food, dancing, and happy memories shared of the deceased.

A SCATTERING CEREMONY is increasingly becoming the favored choice for a loved one’s final disposition because cremation is much simpler, cheaper, and provides more creative options than a traditional cemetery burial. Then the question becomes, what do you do with the ashes?

  • Well, most families either place the remains in a cremation urn and bury (in a smaller, more affordable plot), place in a columbarium niche, or keep the urn at home. However, a fourth option – scattering – is one of the most romantic, free-spirited, and memorable.

Whatever type of service you choose, I would humbly suggest that you highlight the importance of healthy grief.

Here are the services:

Have the Talk of a Lifetime

Our responses to the different feelings that occur during the grieving process are often described as “stages.” These stages are not tied down to “real time”, and people do not necessarily move in and out of the stages in an orderly, straightforward manner. Stages can last for minutes or hours. It is not unusual to move into and out of one stage and then to another, and cycle back again to the first one. You may find yourself repeating this process a number of times as you continue to work through your grief.

The Memorial Have created “the Talk of a Lifetime“, It may or it may not ease families emotional load through conversations about the things that matter most and how a person’s life story be remember and honored in a meaningful way.

Memorialization is so much more than it used to be. Today it can reflect a person’s life story, values, interests and experiences. Meaningful memorialization can be transformative, healing and comforting. Have the Talk of a Lifetime offers families practical advice and tools to help them have conversations about the things that matter most and how they hope to be remembered when they die and for generations to come.

Why Is Having The Talk Important?

Deep down, most of us want to know that we, in some way, made a difference in this world. Having the Talk of a Lifetime can make the difference of a lifetime. It can help reacquaint us with our loved ones and help us get to know them in a new and different way. Sitting down with your loved ones to talk about their lives can be rich and satisfying. Learning about memorable events and people, places and favorite activities, values and lessons they have learned can help bring us closer to those we care about most. The talk helps us reaffirm to our loved ones how much they have influenced our life.

Who Should Have The Talk?

You can have the talk of a lifetime with anyone you hold dear – your parents, children, grandparents, aunts and uncles, a spouse or a friend. It can happen anywhere you and your loved one are most comfortable – over a meal, at home, on a walk, at a family gathering or while playing a game. Your conversation can take place at any time, not just at the end of your life.

How Do I Start The Talk?

Sometimes, using a visual prompt, such as a photo album, souvenir, or memento, can be a great way to start a conversation. Memorable places, such as the church where your loved one was married or a favorite park can also help someone begin to open up and share their story.

You could share a memory about a vacation you took together and will always remember, a piece of advice that you cherish, a song that reminds you of them or the reasons you will never forget them. You may wish to take notes during or after your conversation, or make an audio recording. You should choose whatever method seems most appropriate and comfortable given the setting of your conversation.

Some questions you could ask to start the talk are:

• What is your proudest achievement?

• What was the one piece of advice you received from your parents or grandparents that you never forgot?

• Tell me about the most memorable summer you had growing up.

• Tell me about your favorite teacher; what did you learn from him or her?

• If you could spend a day doing anything you like, what would it be?

• Who has been your greatest inspiration?

Why Should I Plan Ahead?

Not everyone likes to plan ahead, but pre-planning your leaving arrangements not only gives you peace of mind about your final wishes being honored, but alleviates some of the stress and burden your loved ones are going through as they experience the grief associated with the loss. We are happy to assist you with your funeral pre-needs by helping you make decisions about your memorial service in advance and guide you in helping eliminate some of the unnecessary stress brought on by a loved one’s death.

Benefits of Pre-planning

Planning Ahead Lets Your Wishes Be Known

The death of a loved one often brings about unwarranted stress and turmoil among families. One family member wants one thing, while another family member wants something different. By planning, you help prevent those disagreements by letting your family know what your wishes are and how you want your memorial service to be carried out and your business handled.

Planning Ahead Offers Peace of Mind

Our staff guarantees we will carry out the arrangements you want, just as you directed. Once the plans have been arranged, you and your family can rest easy knowing at the time of death, those uncomfortable decisions have been made. In a time when a family should be able to easily grieve, preplanning allows for that to happen.

Planning Ahead Offers Flexible Funding Options

When you preplan your funeral arrangements, there are more options when it comes to funding the memorial. A preneed insurance policy, life insurance policy or other payment options can all be arranged before the time of death. At the time of death, services must be paid in full, so having options ahead of time can also reduce other stress related to losing someone.

Planning Ahead - Relieves the Burden From Family

Following the death of a loved one, there are more than 150 decisions that have to be made within the first day or two following the death. Those stressful decisions on top of the stress of grieving a loss can be eliminated by arranging your final wishes ahead of time. If those decisions are made, your loved ones aren’t left wondering what you would have wanted and how they should proceed with funeral plans. With those decisions out of the way, your loved one can begin the healing process sooner.

We offer our Campo Santo and plan your family MOURNER, An opportunity to offer their condolences and share their grief in a less-structured environment.

We also that provides affordable burial services for the dead and their families. In our Campo Santo you can gather number of visitors and guest for approximately 50-100pax.
